It’s so weird how our world works...

I am having conversations with four individual past sellers. Each for various reasons mostly none property related, just because I am now friends of Facebook with them. And ironically I moved them all around the same time approx 5 years ago, all unrelated sales.

It made me realise what a great job I have to meet so many lovely people whilst doing a job love.

When selling or buying a property you build a huge relationship emotionally, it is still quite a long time to be in constant communication with someone/a family/ a couple. Our English system is so antiquated and gives us all unnecessary worries and delays. In fact there has been many a moment whereby I have given hugs when our clients are tearful. Why? Because we care and are human and live through your journey. Buying & selling is never easy and we have enough experience in our role and indeed our own experiences to appreciate these feelings.

A recent sale back in the Summer here is a prime example. We had two sellers in our chain with a mortgage offer due to expire so it was all systems go. There was a tense build up. The only way we could or couldn’t make it was by getting the whole chain of 5 to agreeing to simultaneous exchange & completion on the same day. This meant our two families, both with two young children each had to box their whole houses up and literally hope it happened. Myself and Stephanie really felt the anxiety and cannot imagine how how our clients felt. I even got a call from my husband on the morning of proposed completion day, asking if it had happened for the poor families as he knew how much it meant to us. Fortunately it did! Most agents wouldn’t care about the clients, more about their commissions but for us as a company this was a secondary thought it was all about making our clients dreams become a reality and not letting their little ones down.

Since then we have kept in touch and both families are happy & settled.

We pride ourselves at Katie Fox Estate agent on giving the best customer service and realise that everyone of our clients has different needs. So if you are looking to sell your property in Poole but want more from your agent than a slick suit & fancy hair cut, then we would love to hear from you.
