We have come back into the office with a buzziness to the market. Plenty of new enquiries, new buyers with a hunger to move and sellers wanting to get moving. I think the interest rates remaining stable and inflation dropping this has bought some much needed confidence into the market.

Our predication is prices may well dip a little further as more and more competition comes to the market but if you are buying and selling it is all relative.

Despite the negativity surrounding last years economy and our industry, here at Katie Fox Estate agents we actually had one of our best years to date. We sold more properties in 2023 than we did in the years before. Pricing has been an extremely key part to this, those who accepted the drop in prices since 2022 have been sold & moved but those still hanging onto 'old' prices are struggling.
